OOAK Misfit
AUTUMN GIBSON
Founder, CEO & Head designer. As a young child Autumn always had a knack for fashion. Putting outfits together, styling her friends and making new clothes out of random finds.
Out of highschool she attended Kirkwood community college studying fashion design and merchandising. but decided that college wasn't for her. She continued her self taught journey with sewing.
Years later Autumn started OOAK Misfit in 2020 while living in Sturgis, South Dakota. She moved away from her hometown in 2019, not knowing anyone in her new area she had a lot of time alone.
She began thrifting and repurposing Jean Jackets. As she found more items, she expanded the clothing being repurposing. Thats when OOAK Misfit was created.
